The Hispanic Health Council's mission is to promote equity and address health disparities for Hispanics, Latinos, and other vulnerable communities through research, advocacy, and culturally resonant services.
With the recent devastation that has taken place in Puerto Rico due to Hurricane Fiona, the Hispanic Health Council wants to take a direct role in the relief efforts. Citizens in the storm’s deadly wake have encountered days without essential utilities – including much of Puerto Rico, where most were left without power and running water.
To support our community here and in Puerto Rico, we will be raising $10,000 specifically for disaster relief.
